Dear Brendan , Conor and extended family. I just want to say as night enfolds Moyville on the day of Deirdre’s funeral there are many heavy hearts in the area . We will miss her presence on the pathways with her dogs . Chatting to anyone she met on her way . My late husband John and Deirdre had many a long chat .
It will take a good while to adjust to not seeing her . She was part of the fabric and landscape . May Deirdre rest in peace . She is not too far away .

I met Deirdre 8 years ago when I started taking care of her dogs.
All rescues that absolutely adored her.
Deirdre wanted the very best quality of life for each one.
So shocked that she is gone.
Her wish would be that Buddy, Daisy, Rosie and Molly all find lovely new homes and with the support of her wonderful family, friends and neighbours, it will happen.
And that would make Deirdre so happy 🐾❤️

We were very saddened to hear the news on Sunday morning. Deirdre’s sudden passing was such a shock.
She loved her time here in Rossbeigh — walking the dogs along the strand and enjoying the lovely local restaurants. It was always clear what a close and loving family you all had.

We were very shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Deirdre's sudden passing.

We had both known Deirdre for many years going back to our working days in the Dept of Social Welfare.

Deirdre was part and parcel of Edmonstown Green and Moyville and it was always great to catch up with her when she walked the estate with her beloved dogs.
