Deirdre or rather Mrs Lawlor or Pete's mum has always been a warm and generous presence. She made me feel very welcome when I visited Peter who was home at the time. I will remember her as a genuinely kind and truly lovely lady. Sincere condolences to the family.

Deirdre was a wonderful colleague in the earliest days of UCD at Lyons and she brought fun and humour to us all at that time. She worked hard when she was there and she was a valued member of the Lyons community for quite a number of years.
