It is such sad news to hear that Deirdre, has passed away leaving a void that will be difficult to fill. I was fortunate enough to have known,Deirdre from my four years spent at UL. My memories of Deirdre were that of a sweet person,who always had a lovely smile, no matter what the season or weather, she was even kind enough to laugh at my silly jokes. So in closing, I send my heartfelt condolences to the Kelleher family and and appreciation that Deirdre, brought a lot of joy and happiness to those who knew her. Rest in peace my UL friend.

I am devastated to learn of the passing of wonderful Deirdre, one of my dearest friends during our postgraduate years at the University of Limerick. We soldiered together through the tough days and the rest of the time enjoyed many a great chat over a UL canteen lunch.
My heartfelt condolences to all of Deirdre's family, whom she spoke of so often. A warm, funny, sincere friend. Rest In Peace, Deirdre. Thank you for your friendship.

Deirdre, I continue to remember our time in UL together. There were plenty of laughs, cinema trips and later on Brugge tea rooms and far too many Take That concerts.
