Dear Fiona, Daragh and Ciara,

Mum shared the very sad news of your Mum's passing a few days ago - I'm so sorry. Like all the rest of the 'kids' growing up on Waterfall Road, I have great memories of your Mum being such a lovely, warm, caring soul. She helped make that road be the most amazing place to grow up, she will be missed.

Deirdre, may you rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Deirdres sad passing. A lovely person who always made one feel at ease with her lovely smile. To Fiona, Ciara, and Darragh my condolences.

We were so grieved to learn of the passing of your Mum and are sorry that the distance factor prevents us from travelling to Cork to attend the funeral today. We both share so many happy memories of the many good times we shared with both your Mum and Dad, both in Kinsale and elsewhere and were extremely fond of them both. Your Mum was such a lovely person; a wonderful lady in every respect and we remember both her and your Dad when your Dads anniversary comes around in November each year. I was so sad to hear about Deirdre's passing. It also brought a flurry of fabulous memories of growing up on Waterfall Rd and for years after we left the road. Christmas drinks, where Deirdre always welcomed us in and it was more likely to be Baily's/Sheridan's poured than a cup of tea. Year round, Deirdre always had a welcome for us and always with her beautiful smile that sent us on our way all the better for being with her. I, like so many others have lost a great pal.
