It’s hard to have good words in such a moment. I wish I could hug you in person but as we are far away, I hope these lines can express you my sadness for your loss and let you know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Treasure the good moments you lived with mum and try to keep a smile when you remember her, as that is the greatest way someone can stay alive in our hearts forever. I did not know her but knowing you, I know she left many great things in this world.

I was saddened to hear of Deirdre’s passing. I have fond memories of growing up with Deirdre in Kill village and of our chats at the bus stop while waiting for the school bus. She was a friendly and elegant lady.

Liam Wall told me the sad news this morning. So sorry to hear of Deirdre's passing. I have happy memories of her in GTC. She was a wonderful person. Even though we all went different ways , the memories of GTC lingered.
