Sincere sympathy to all the Nolan's. I did try to post my regrets but technology got the better of me. Deirdre was a lovely and peasant person. May she rest in peace. Unfortunately medical reason kept me from her funeral.

Fergus, Eric, Niamh, Barry, Jo, Prue and the best of grandchildren, a wonderful, infectious, loving lady has left the room but how the Heavens party at her arrival. Deirdre lives on now in a different way, a part of her in each of you. You have been a loyal and faithful family to the end, a special word of recognition to you Fergus for your exceptional care in your dear mums latter years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this the saddest of times, Shirley & Lewis.

What a great privilege it has been to have known Granny Dee! My one abiding memory of Deirdre will be her wonderfully infectious laugh. I remember once going to visit her in Mount Carmel. I didn't know which ward she was in but I didn't need to ask anybody. I just stood at the entrance, listened, and walked towards the laughter. At its source, there was Deirdre. May her lovely soul now rest in eternal peace and may her memory always make us smile.
