I am so sorry to hear of Deirdre's passing. Her family were so welcoming to us as teens and when I think of Dee I see her smiling and giggling. When she came over to stay in Spain in '87, she explained (sang) a star trek song that was in the charts in Cork but hadn't reached me where I lived! She chuckled her way through it, changing gear doing the chorus, her laughing was infectious :). Great memories of nights out and easy friendship. Deepest sympathy to you all at this time.
