My sincere sympathy to all the bermingham family and relations.i am so sad writeing this as phena and her late husband tom were great heros to me.phena was a lady and i held her in such high esteem.Thank u phena for sending me such a beautifull leter many years ago.i will always cherish it.wellcome home to gods house and tell your daughter catherine i said hi.Till we meet again.job very well done.

It was a great day in the life over 26 years ago, to have met The Bermingham Family through Noeleen and Ger Dempsey, while they were neighbours of mine in Moore Park.
Meeting Phena for the first time in her residence - and her most loyal, kind, warm hearted family was like, me entering into The Kingdom of Heaven. The welcome of everyone was well appreciated.
During Phena's lifetime, she constantly always put everyone first and herself last, even if you were the poorest person in the world.
I have no doubt that on Monday 2nd March, Phena went straight through The Gates Of Heaven, without any hesitation.
May our dear Parents and all our loved ones R.I.P. Amen.

Phena was an amazing woman who always put others first.

With a positive attitude and a gentle smile, Phena’s drive to help others always shone through. From community work to supporting individuals, Kilcullen & Suncroft were so much better for Phena’s presence.

Phena was the most wonderful person who did so much for so many people. I have great memories of Phena arranging for us to do so much years ago in Suncroft, from summer camps to art classes to litter picking and more, often followed by get togethers and barbecues in her home - she had great belief in everyone and was the best fun. Sincere condolences to Thomas and all the family and thank you Phena.

To all the Bermingham family, so sorry for your loss, we were sad to hear of Phena’s passing, she was one of a kind, and will no doubt be deeply missed, may she rest in peace.

Phena was a huge part of my life. I spent the vast majority of my youth in her kitchen…eating and avoiding picking raspberries!! She was a constant in our lives and when her and Avril were together it was like they were teenagers again, laughing and arguing about who was going to pay. It truly is the end of an era that we were all privileged to share in. Miss you Phena. xxx
