I remember sitting in the house with Denis and listening to the detailed history of Oldcastletown as a very young child and up until a few years ago. Denis was a lost historian, a kind soul and a good neighbour, may his soul rest in eternal peace amongst the others who have recently departed us here in Oldcastletown.
