As a teenage golfer Denis played a vital role in teaching me all aspects of the game. He taught me how to understand the golf swing. He was adamant that I changed my grip, and after I listened he of course was right. His support and encouragement of my own golf for over 15 years I will never forget. His company of the golf course was warm, engaging and always interesting.
