Denis served as Chairperson on our Board of Management in recent years, until his retirement due to illness.
Denis was a gentleman. He was very supportive and kind and had great empathy. He treated everybody with respect and always made decisions based on the greater good.
We had many great chats and laughs on our way to and from Board of Management training conferences. I will remember Denis fondly.
I hope that heaven has an abundance of musicals, golf courses and committees to amuse him!

Sincere condolences on the sad passing of Denis. I knew Denis and his family from growing up in Lahinch, and later had the opportunity of working with him in Clare Mental Health Services in Ennis. I remember him as very dedicated to his patients, and to the staff as Director of Nursing, always in good form, with a great outlook on life, and was great company. He will be sadly missed. Sympathy to Neasa and all the family.
