Thank you denjoe for the most precious and wonderful memories i have of growing up on the farm. Hunting for a lost lamb born during the night and hand rearing it by the fire until it was strong enough to go out again, picking them horrible massive stones from the field getting ready to plant the potatoes, loading the bales of straw into the barn while your knees would be red and sore from the burns of the straw, being hunted through the yard by the Gander and barely making it through the gap in the gate before it nipped you on the behind while you and nana cried from laughing at me but the most important part,?,waiting for you to come home from the dance with my lemonade and peanuts,always left on the kitchen sink for me. These memories have carried me through life and you are one of those people who moulded me into the person i am today. You thought me to be kind,have manners,respect for others,compassion,unconditional love but most importanly you always said, a big smile siobhan.you fought a hard battle denjoe but im so glad your finally out of all that pain and at peace and may you be doing a jig up in heaven. Forever and always in my heart,RIP.xxx

Joan you were a great support to Denis, especially in his twilight years, when he needed help and support, and that is the true meaning of love, to be there when the need arises. You, will miss his company, and support, but the ways of the lord, are different from ours, and in accepting those challenging times ahead, you will recall the wonderful memories you have of Denis, and your lives together, which will be a source of comfort to you, in these difficult days. I’m sorry I was not able to get to pay my respects, but was not around. May god bless you Joan.
