It was with Great Sadness I learned from my good friend Declan Aungier that Dinny had passed away. Dinny was known as a top Musician throughout Ireland. I began my musical journey with the Shamrock Star Ceili Band when I was just 14, and it’s been a magical trip for me ever since. Dinny always helped young aspiring musicians to get started and now ZAK and Denis Jnr are also accomplished performers. May I extend my very sincere sympathy to Doreen and all her Family at this very sad time.Thank you Dinny for all you did for me, Goodbye old Friend, Rest Well and Sleep Softly, you’ve earned it. Im saddened now to have seen Dennys death notice.Denny and my late father bertie were the best of buddies,, they were part of a band called silvertones for many years along wit the late christy bolger. Many a pub and dance hall denny and daddy and christy played in down thr the years are fond memories to have forever.Any time ud meet Denny he would always say horay morgan.The craic and laughs they had in the band together was mighty. They were in score na nog one year and won it. Remember that night before they went on stage they were no wherr to be seen denny bertie and christy there were late going on to sing and they won it. I have years of Fond Memories of Denny. Thank u for the lovely music thank u for being my late dad bertie a fantastic friend.The 3 of you are now together in heaven. Rest in Peace Denny. Its with a very heavy heart we heard of Dinnys passing. Sincere Sympathy to you my dear Doreen,Denis,Karen, Zac,Noah & Fionn. Dinny has always been a great part of our lives, we danced to his music for so many years. Even though he was my uncle he was my best friend, neighbour and like a brother to me. Thanks Dinny for all the fun times and craic I'm sure you will be rewarded in heaven, I don't think smoking will be allowed up there with the angles. All our love now and forever.
