Denis was one of the best, most affable & dedicated Gaa officials, I have had the pleasure of engaging with. In 2005, when we were trying to open Cr. Park, Limerick Co. Biard had adopted a position against. I asked Denis, would he allow Clubs to vote on it. He bravely agreed & cucially Limerick Gaa clubs voted to open Cr. Park. Denis was a really graet & fair-minded man My sympathy to Anne, the Holmes family & Oola Gaa. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sé.
