SO SORRY TO HEAR OF POOR DONNACHAS PASSING.
LAST TIME I MET HIM HE WAS SITTING IN THE SUNSHINE OUTSIDE REGGIE KELLYS RESTAURANT HAVING A COFFEE WAITING FOR NOELINE, SAT DOWN WITH HIM, TOLD ME HOW HE LOVED MIDLETON AND THAT EVERYONE KNEW HIM AND TALKED TO HIM. HE WAS IN GOOD FORM THAT DAY BUT DID LOOK A LITTLE UNWELL.
WE WILL MISS HIS SONGS, HIS PLAYING, HIS STORIES, MAY HE REST IN PEACE ON"THE SHORES OF MALABAR". OR WHERE EVER.

FOND REGARDS AND CONDOLENCES TO NOELINE AND HIS FAMILY, HE WAS A GREAT CHARACTER.

I am so sorry to hear of Denis’s passing. I have fond memories of meeting him on the back way in the Cork Road with my Mam Mary (Lyons). There was always great banter and many laughs when they met. He may have been a “blow-in” but he endeared himself to all the neighbours and will be sadly missed.
May Denis Rest In Peace.
