Deepest sympathy to Neville on the death of his father, Denis. He was a true gentleman who was always in good form. I had the pleasure of his company on the golf course on many occasions. He was a formidable operator off his handicap. Rest in peace Denis.

Condolences to Jeffrey and Neville. Denis was a true gent and a great neighbour. I lived directly across the road (No. 32) on 'the Drive' from the 1960s through to the late '80s.

Denis was one of Sutton Golf Club's longest-serving members, maintaining a lifelong connection with the club and making an invaluable contribution to its community over many years. With a golfing career that spanned decades, and having only retired from the game in recent years his enduring passion and commitment to the sport serves as an inspiration to us all.
Throughout his time with us, Denis was an enthusiastic and regular competitor, as well as a steadfast supporter of all things Sutton Golf Club. A true club man, he took great pleasure in sharing his warmth and humour with his regular playing partners, both on the course and during the treasured post-game debriefs.
Denis was universally regarded as a thorough gentleman in every sense of the word. He was respected, admired, and well-liked by all who had the privilege of knowing him. We have lost a cherished friend and esteemed member. Our club is undoubtedly poorer for his passing.

What incredible love and selfless care you showed to him over the years, to enable him to live life to its fullest. To reach 94 is testimony to your care for him. He will have felt so much love from you all in his final years. Much love and hugs to you all.
