I have many fond memories of Denis in his time as a Councillor with Tralee UDC and Trade Union activist.

He worked diligently on behalf of the peple of Tralee and along side my father Tommy Foley , Michael O Regan, Maurice O Connor and John Blennerhasset.

The Canal Bank, The Swan Pond, Tralee Town Park, Blennirville mill, Ballyseedy Wood etc are a testament to these great men.

They have saved and protected these great amenities for this generation and those yet unborn.

May your beautiful soul rest in peace.
