Denis Jordan

I was very saddened to hear of Denis’ passing. I had the pleasure of meeting him often while out walking my dog, and we shared many friendly conversations in recent years. Denis was a gentleman—kind, engaging, and always generous with his time and stories. His beloved Lassie and my dog Benji would often play together down by the river walk and in the field behind the college. He got great enjoyment out of seeing them play! My sincere condolences to his family and friends. RIP Denis.

So sorry to hear the sad news of Denis's passing. My sincere sympathy to all his family and friends on their loss. He was an absolute gentleman with a warm smile who loved to chat. He was so kind hearted to children at Halloween when he would have a sweet shop laid out in his hallway for them to come and choose from an array of treats. Many fond memories I will have of Denis with his beloved dogs. May Denis's gentle soul rest in peace.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Denis. We had the pleasure of Denis staying with us for many years for Writers week always looked forward to his visit spending his time enjoying the festival & his drives to ballybunion beach and walks by the river with his beloved Lassie. Our condolences to all of Denis’s family & friends he was a true gentleman kind & caring. We will always think of him and will be sadly missed. Rest in peace Denis enjoy the fishing x

So saddened to hear of the passing of Denis. I used to meet him regularly during my walks down by the river and we would chat about plants, fishing etc. I only asked another walker a few days ago if they had seen Denis as hadnt seen him for some time. I always knew Denis wasnt far away when I saw Lassie coming towards me. Denis and Lassie were never apart. Rest in peace Denis.

I'm very sad to hear of Denis'passing. He spent many happy years with us in Rossa Street, minding our dogs when we were on holiday, calling in for a chat and we loved his interesting, conversation, his writings, his poem for our dog. We didn't see Denis as much in recent years but we chatted when we met and he had his beloved dog(s) with him. My thoughts are with his family, Mary and Joe especially.. Donna
