I was in a different role but when you met Denis the conversation and laughs flowed easily...always enjoyable ..He had a superb knowledge on sport especially soccer... He was an assured sportsman and he excelled as a goalkeeper at all levels locally and at League of Ireland level with Newcastlewest. I will forever remember his debut for the West Limerick club.
