Condolences to the Kelly family, sad to read that Denis has died.
A great man for stories and the chat, he would never leave anyone stuck and had great support from his own family and his cathedral family when Bríd died over 20 years ago now. I can still see himself and the late Fr Jimmy McLoughlin whispering and skitting laughing in a corner of the cathedral. He had a great faith and enjoyed the Christmas and Easter ceremonies even though he gave out about the length of them!

Very sorry to hear that Denis has died. Associated with every aspect of cathedral life and if you didn't see him, you'd hear him with those shoes clicking on the marble floors! I particularly associate him with Christmas and placing the baby Jesus in the big crib.
