In 2007, I went to trip of a lifetime to Memphis, Tennessee for the 30th anniversary of Elvis's passing. The following year, friends found out that there was an Elvis social club held in the Royal Dublin Hotel, O'Connell St where I first met Rocky. He was a colourful character from the get go with his suits and shoes and his passion for Elvis. I met him over the years at events in the Red Cow, the Church. I am a member of the " Elvis Rocking in the Hills of Donegal Fan Club". Since the club was established, Rocky has been a hugh supporter, traveling to our events, supplying prizes for jive competitions raffles etc. He was one of a kind. My sympathies to Rocky's family on his passing.

We were so sorry to hear about Rocky's passing, he was a wonderful, kind and gentle man with a huge heart. Thank you for all the great memories over the last 20+ years. You genuinely will be missed. Sincerest sympathies to all the family. No doubt you are rocking up there with Elvis and Billy now dear friend. RIP.

We are all so saddened to hear of Rocky's passing. He will be very sadly missed by all his friends here at Friends of the Elderly, he truly was a very special man.

So sorry to hear of Rockies passing. What a lovely man had some great times at the Elvis shows with him. Looked forward to his Christmas Card every year with all the news. Will be sadly missed by many. RIP.
