Deepest condolences to the Luby family on the passing of Denis. I served with Denis both at home in BWS and abroad in Somalia. He saved the day for the Unit departing Mogadishu by loading all our containers onto the ship from early morning until night with his fork lift .

Such a shock and an incredibly sad loss. Denis was an absolute force of energy, fun, laughter and a bottomless pit of interesting stories about his adventures in the army - But most of all, I've never seen a man so utterly devoted to his children and grandkids; the limitless love and devotion he had for his family was nothing short of awe-inspiring. My heart goes out to my dear pal Michelle, and to Dan, Jayne, Sadie and all of the grandkids & extended family. Thinking of you all.
