There was very little time to talk to you at the Reposing in Kenmare, but I had great memories of working with Denis over the years.

Denis was very professional in his work as a P.E. Teacher and he was very supportive in the organisation of Co. Kerry VEC Sports Committee/ " The Coiste" events such as Co. Sports Days, Cross-Country Days. Participation and enjoyment were key to the performance of his students but winning as well as losing were all part of their training for life. This philosophy applied to the football, basketball teams and the other sports activities in which the students coached by Denis were participating.
