DENIS MURPHY

Just recently heard of Denis’s passing,my sincere condolences to Denis’s family, a true character, always enjoyed our conversations, meeting him in town or by the Lough, asking me for black baseball caps and dropping them into the Sin é for him. May he Rest in Peace.

Just heard this weekend that Denis has passed away. So sorry I missed the funeral.
To the extended Murphy family I extend my deepest sympathy.
Denis was a wonderful employee at Beamish and a great ambassador for Beamish thereafter.

Denis was a stalwart in his support of the Palestinian people. He was a lovely presence at our protests and we all felt chuffed to be presented with herbs from his garden. He was gentle and kind and he will be greatly missed.

I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of Din. I used to see him every Saturday at the Palestinian protest, he was always so committed and passionate about standing up for the oppressed. His dedication to social justice was inspiring and he made a huge impact over many years to the campaign for the Palestininan cause. RIP Din Murphy, he was a true Paddystinian!

Denis was a gentleman who we all loved to greet and meet when he donated blood at St Finbarr’s. He would supply us all with herbs and lavender and left an everlasting memory to us all. Rest in peace Denis. Sincerest sympathy to all his family. .

My mom Din aunt would visit her sister noreenDin mom on a wed and din would make her so welcome. She would always come home with fresh vegetables from din garden and l would always get fresh lavender that din would pick for me . He was definitely my mom favourite. She would come home and say what din did for her that day . Thank you Din . You are all together now in heaven .Din may be gone but he definitely won’t be forgotten. He will live on in our gardens house and hearts ♥️ Rest in peace now . 🙏
