Patrick and the O'Brien family, Sorry to hear about Denis's sad passing. He was a true gentleman and a real character on the occasions I met him.

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Denis. A wonderful man who taught me a lot about life and committed to many causes. I remember my times in The Irish Emigrant fondly and often engaged in talking a 'cupla focail' with him, one of his passions. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. I have some sense of what it is like having lost my father to cancer coming up 2 years ago and my mom before last Christmas.

Denis had a great sense of humour and we had many a good laugh putting the world to rights in the Ardilaun sauna before being chased out by the heat.
