What a gentleman he was; great memories of meeting Denis, along with the Kiely family, and Billy Keneally from Glenlara at The Heritage & Eileen’s Cafe for breakfast (3 hours) on McLean Avenue in the Bronx for many years. Denis always had an amazing knowledge of everything Kiskeam & Duhallow. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

There would also be a day out for my mother RIP his cousin Mamie RIP and myself which would end with a meal in a fancy restaurant which we definitely were not accustomed to.
