I am so sorry to hear of Denis’ passing. I have so many fond memories of him; gardening every weekend in his wellies, he was always proud of his pear trees. Encouraging Barbara to turn on the ignition in his car and the two of us driving through the front window of the house. I don’t know who was more shocked Denis or us! His encouragement to try new dishes from the Chinese restaurant, he was always so generous.
Denis had the most fantastic sense of humour and a cheeky smile. I hope all your wonderful memories will help you get through the sad days ahead. Denis was one of life’s great characters. He will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace. Karina (Creevy)

Dear Mary, Denise, Donal, Bar and all extended family,
I just wanted to say how sorry I am about the passing of the lovely Denis who made us all smile and giggle growing up with the fondest times in Ardilea Downs. He was jolly, good humoured and clearly in love with, and infinitely proud of, his entire family. I can still hear his voice! "Ah Baby"! Or asking had I been at the beauty salon! Not to mention the trips to Zen and the lifts in the Merc! Wishing you all the best for the hard days ahead.
