Denis O'Leary

I only found out today that Denis had passed. Very sad to hear this. Denis and I got to know each other in the same ward in CUH during February and March. Such a decent man. Beautiful niece and sisters who to their credit meant Denis was never alone. I will never forget their kindness to me.
Sadly, and I wish I hadn't, heard what the doctors were saying to Denis and the writing was in the wall
I hope Denis went peacefully. He had suffered enough.
We only knew each other for a short time but if you're stuck in hospital with someone, you either love them or hate them. I loved Denis.

Rest in peace Denis my friend. Your pain is over.
