I'm very sad to hear of Denis' passing. We had lost touch in recent years as we both left the swimming club, however we swam many a mile together both in the pool and out in Inniscarra. Very quirky sense of humour! One of my funniest memories of Denis was meeting him in town randomly one day and asking if he had changed his hair...Id never seen him before without a swim cap on so was surprised to find out he had thick curls! He was a kind person and a strong swimmer. I'll always remember him. Sleep well Denis.
