It was Denis who convinced me (Paddy)in 1968 that I was well capable of joining the Irish Press from the Drogheda Independent in Trim. He also put in a good word for me in the I.P. It changed my entire life, for the better. I lost contact with him in later life and am really sad to learn of his passing.
