Sincere condolence to the Hayden Family at this sad time

Her final farewell was a very dignified and fitting tribute to the lovely Denise, who will be greatly missed by so many of us. Her kindness, her generosity, her goodness and her sense of fun at all times was always well appreciated. Ironically Denise and I had planned our time together in Fuerteventura this month but unfortunately due to Covid restrictions and because Denise had fallen ill this became impossible. I was so much looking forward to being there in her company but life has a habit of throwing curved balls. In a situation that arose that was unchangeable, her catch phrase was 'Never mind' and she would move on to the next experience...and that is what she has just done today. The loss can be immeasurable and so can the love left behind. There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart. Our meeting and memories will never be forgotten. Just watched your funeral on iPad in New Jersey such a flood of emotions, Mt Merrion Avenue, Portrane, the Barn. Your visit here many years ago, Niagara Falls, Manhattan, fun times. Was sad to hear of your illness and untimely death May you rest in peace

We got to know denise through linda Kavanagh. The association been ballyconnell. We loved making Denise smile with our good humoured carry on ,and grew exceptionally fond of her , the planet has truly lost one of lifes ladies. Denise you will be missed rip friend

We are still finding it difficult to accept that Denise is no longer with us. Her passing is such a shock to her beloved family, extended family and her many friends.
We can now only reminisce, remembering the happy times we spent with Denise, over the last five decades. We think ,especially, of our Christmases together in The Turks and Caicos Islands, our frequent phone conversations, emails, family updates and putting the world to rights.

I was deeply deeply shocked and saddened to read of Denise's untimely death.
A life time friendship of growing up with her and her family on Mount Merrion Avenue is at an end but I have the memories.
As we grew older we would catch up over dinner three or four times a year but this year because of the pandemic it never materialized. I will miss you.

We are both very sad to hear off Denise passing. Denise played a really important role in helping me and my Aunt. Denise was one in a million, nothing was ever to much trouble for her. She was a spectacular friend to my aunt. Life will not be the same without her.

I am so sorry to hear of Denise’s premature passing. I have known her for as long as I can remember. A true friend to both Mum and Dad and our whole family. I have very fond memories of a trip to Schull many years ago, as well as numerous walks with the gang in Wicklow and lots of dinners. Rest in Peace, Denise and condolences to your family.
