I heard today of the sad passing of Denise.
She had a presence , unassuming and beautiful person, inside and out : she extended much of her experience to many people and helped them along their way.

To Roger & all of Denise’s Family we wish to convey our deepest sympathy. We had dinner with both of you in Brady’s one night and Denise also visited my shop (Nina’s) regularly. What a loss for you all.

My deepest condolences to Denise’s family on her untimely passing- I had the pleasure of working with Denise when she joined the Leadership associates team in JCT. She brought such wealth of knowledge and educational insights to her role and we were very lucky to have her as part of the team. May she rest in peace.

I was very sad to hear of Denise's passing.

She was instrumental in Junior Cycle development particularly in the area of inclusion.

I worked with Denise on many occasions. She was a professional to her fingertips.

Denise was also great fun and had great empathy in her dealings with everyone, at all levels in the education system.

Through my work with the NCCA, I enjoyed working with Denise as a colleague at different times during her career in education. Denise was fantastic to work with - effervescent, enthusiastic, positive, prepared, always hopeful and forward-looking. A real contributor as a colleague. Almost every time we met, she’d ask after my two boys, more or less the same age as her own, how were they doing? What were they doing? So I know how important her own family was to her and I have no doubt there are many happy recollections and memories to help you through these very sad days.

I am devastated to hear of Denise’s passing. Denise was one of the most inspiring, intelligent and brilliant people I have had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you Denise. My deepest condolences to all of Denise’s friends and family. Ar dheis De go raibh anam dílis.

It is with deep sadness that the Board of Management, staff, and students of St Finian’s Community College mourn the passing of our former Principal, Denise Kelly.

Denise served as Principal from 2010-2013, leading our school community with dedication, compassion, and integrity. She was an inspirational leader who cared deeply for both staff and students, and whose vision and commitment helped shape the school we know and cherish today.
We remember her with great affection for her wisdom, and unwavering belief in the power of education to transform lives. Her legacy lives on in the many students whose paths were brightened by her guidance and encouragement.

I am very sad to hear of the passing of Denise. She took me under her wing and a leap of faith in me, when she employed me to work with her to write the L1LP Programme. Denise welcomed me with open arms when I joined the wonderful staff of St. Finian's Community College and I’ll be forever grateful.
