Sincere condolences to her family, of whom Denise was so proud. Such an honest woman of the highest integrity. She took this raw groupie under her wing in the 90's and was fantastic sport, especially on nights when everything else was quiet. Won't forget your true friendship. RIP Dinny

I was shocked and saddened to hear of your lovely Mam‘s passing
Like many of us when we started in our job she took us under her wing looked after us and gave great advice
We heard endless stories of all of you growing up she was so proud of you her children
I will always remember her fondly she had a heart of gold with room for everyone

My deepest condolances on the death of Denise. I worked with her in the Female Prison in the 70,s and 80 s. She was such a lovely person,great craic to work with,and very helpfull to new staff. She spoke regulary of her family with great love. So sad to see her pass so young.

To all of Denises family my sincerest condolences on losing your mam and nanny. Your mam was a great friend to me and many from the day i started work in the Dochas centre in 2002. I learned so much from her and i loved her strong spirit she was a force to be reckoned with, with a huge heart under it all. I laughed with her and i cried with her. She was so proud of all of her children and spoke of you all the time. She had an extra gleam in her eye when her grand children started coming along she absolutley adored them. I missed her so much when she left and only got to meet up a few times since her retirement unfortunately. Your mam was a true legend to all who knew her and she will never be forgotten by those of us who had the privelage to work with her and especially be her friend. Rest in peace Denise love always Carmel Donnelly xxxx
