After such a short illness, we were devastated to hear of the passing of Dennis - A friend for nearly 50 years. Our deepest sympathies to Ursula, Katie and Danny. We will always remember his vivacious personality, great sense of fun and decency. He was an accomplished man with many skills not least his success in business and of course his superb achievements in football. He was also a great photographer and we are indebted to him for the beautiful book of photographs he presented to us following Ruth’s wedding. Thank you Dennis for your friendship, kindness and above all, the craic we enjoyed over many years. Rest peacefully dear friend.

Dennis was a true gentleman and a wonderful man – always enjoyed his company and, of course, all the photographs at the football events/functions down the years. Dennis gave so much to Irish football especially the FAI Junior Council and FAI Junior Cup competitions and also his huge contribution to UEFA. Dennis will be sorely missed.

I met Dennis in 2014 as a UEFA Delegate and worked with him appointing him as UEFA Stadium Inspector to more than 60 missions since then. I admired Dennis’s always friendly, happy and open approach to work and life.
I will always remember Dennis for his happiness and the hearty laughter we had every year at the annual reunions.
