Dennis (Den) Fitzsimons

Only learned of Den’s passing, my deepest sympathies to Jen, the kids and Den’s whole family, I meet Den in the Bottom of the hill in Finglas, we worked together until the night club closed, i remember meeting a young Jen and the love that they shared from a young age for each other was clear to see. We shared some great nights and had a few great nights out also, he was a gentleman true and true, a great friend and a wonderful human, he will be missed, YNWA Den ❤️

Almost a month since Den passed away after a massive battle fought so bravely. Dennis was a gentleman, a hard worker, a loyal friend and most importantly a family man through and through. During his illness, these qualities shone brightly for all to see. His bravery and his willingness to try anything and everything that would give him as much time as possible with his family & friends, was nothing short of legendary. His utter defiance to give in to his illness was something to be so admired and I consider myself blessed to have had him as a neighbour and friend for so long. Rest well Den, you'll never walk alone. xx

I only heard of the news the sad passing of Dennis, We shared plenty of chats together over the years in the courts and he is remembered with all good memories. He is now in a better place may he rest in peace.

Im so shocked and sadenned to hear this awful news. Ive know Dennis since Irish Nationwide days and more recently in life when we all grew up and he looked after our solicitor affairs in such a professional manner.
Many a social night we had out, he was such fun, such a brilliant outlook on life and spoke so lovely of his proudest moments of his wedding day and his kids. His family was everything to him.

I had the honour and privilege of working with Dennis for a good few years in DMGR & Co., and have lots of great memories. We never lost contact and touched base regularly and through it all he never was in bad form always giving everything his all. He spoke highly of his daughters whom he idolised and when Daniel came along the bond between a father and son just shone. Jen you are his world and more and I’ll always remember how excited he was to finally make you his wife. A bright light has been quenched but your memories of (Den) will live on forever in your hearts.

I only knew Den for a brief period. He would come in for a drink and we would chat about life, football and everything in between. In that short time he left a positive impact on all of us.
