Dear Pamela, I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I hope his solved rest in peace. I can only imagine how difficult this time must be for you and your family. Please know that my thoughts are with you and if there’s anything I can do to support you don’t hesitate to reach out wishing you strength comfort during this time.
My heartfelt prayers to my darling friend Pamela. I know how deeply you love your Dad. I am sorry to your Mom for her terrible loss and the pain she is going through. Condolences to the family. My love to you all.
Dessie, there hasn’t been a single day since you left this world that your name hasn’t been mentioned at home. Memories, stories of our life with you have flooded our house, bringing laughter and tears. I will deeply miss all the hours listening to anecdotes about your incredible life. You were such a loving, patient, generous grandfather, father. I am grateful you passed on your talented skills to John, aka DJ (Dennis Junior) in our home :), who in turn is doing the same to our children. Rest in peace and as promised, we will look after Lolie.
Dessie (otherwise known as Dennis) was a loving father. He was so kind and very respectful to the elders. He knew that one day he’d be the elder lemon himself (for those of you who remember the lemsip adds in the 1980). He always joked about that. He was an amazing tradesman and had huge academic knowledge that was self acquired. I had the benefit of university education to MSc and professional qualifications thereafter but the most valuable and life changing lessons I ever learned were from my parents and working on building sites with my father every summer. Life lessons that you can’t be thought in a school or a university and the ones that create the inner confidence that’s required to get through life today. I hope to be the same man to my five children. Obviously after they clean their rooms! No chance! I’ll miss him till I’m gone myself but all he talked about before his passing was to look after my mother his enduring love. He was a glutton for punishments. God bless Dad and I hope that you and Christy Dignam hare having a good auld chinwag together. It’s a Crazy World! See you soon.
Sincere condolences to the Doyle family on the passing of Dennis may he rest in peace.
