My deepest sympathy to Ger and all the family. I can only add by saying that Dennis brought smiles and laughter to every day here in the UCD Applied Language Centre. His name has always come up in the context of a much cherished, respected and relied upon colleague. We will miss your happy outlook on life, Dennis, and will try to keep a part of this within us going forward. God rest your soul!

Such a terrible tragedy. Words aren't enough at a time like this. But I sympathise with you all at this very sad time.

I am so sad to hear of Dennis's death. He was a wonderful man who was very much loved and respected by his teaching colleagues and students in the Applied Language Centre in UCD. We know how greatly he was cherished by Ger and his girls and how proud he was of his grandchildren. My deepest sympathy to all of you.
