Deepest sympathy to the Gillespie family at this sad time, we had the absolute pleasure of living next door to Derek for nearly 7 years. He would always stop to say hello and was so lovely to our children, he always remembered their birthday and left a card for them on our door morning of. It was always the first card we received. It was so thoughtful. He was a true gentleman and will be so dearly missed by us. RIP xo

I had the pleasure of working with Derek during a hospital admission, he was so lovely and pleasant to deal with. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. May he RIP.
