My very sincere condolences to the Hutton family on their very sad loss

Thinking of Margaret, John, Gary & Shane at this impossibly difficult time. Still so hard to take in this heart-breaking loss. Lovely memories growing up of Derek in Carlow and Donegal, and recent years too. A real gentleman: warm, kind, funny and always up for craic and mischief. He will be hugely missed by all of us whose life he touched.

I have such fond memories of visiting you all in Carlow where you welcomed us all and when we met up while visiting Sylvie in Donegal. I looked up to Derek as a younger cousin as I did with Shane and Gary. So sorry for your loss. Rest in peace Derek. Love Robert.

Hard to believe this is happening, Derek will always be remembered for his genuine kindness and amazing personality, Pollerton Big was the best place to grow up and the Poll gang was the coolest gang to be a part of, Derek will live on in all of our memories xx

So sorry to hear of Derek's passing. He was a great character, always ready to share a joke or song & always in great form. He put the heart crossways on many an occasion calling a name from behind a pallet on an unsuspected person as they appeared around a corner. Thank you so much for the happy memories & friendship.
