Was delighted to meet Derek and Ann in Fagans a few weeks ago having not seen Derek since before Covid. It was great to catch up and see Derek in such great form; in the wake of his sudden passing, I appreciate that half hour now more than I did at the time. Our sincerest condolences to Ann and Derek's family. Derek was an absolute gentleman and would go out of his way to keep our family cars on the road, probably well past their sell by date. He always had the time and patience to deal with whatever we threw at him and always with a smile on his face. He will be sadly missed by all in the Delaney / Albertini household.

I am so sad to hear the awful news of Derek's death, I met him and Paddy in 1972 and he has looked after my cars ever since until he retired a couple of years ago. May he rest in peace as he deserves it.
