Derek was one of the most honest and straight talking people I've ever met, he had a brilliant outlook on life and I'm going to miss his chicky little grin. My deepest condolences to my brilliant friend and amazing woman Dionne and her beautiful kids James and Kellie. Rest in peace Derek xxxx

Horrible to here this...remember Derek fondly growin up in knockmore......And wont forget him givin me a lift to and from fas when we were both in apprenticeships in his blue punto......deepest condolences to Damo and the redt of his loving family...lovely bloke i hope he rests in peace
