Derek O'Connor

I'm in shock on hearing the sad news of Derek's passing. We had become friends when he started calling into our hardware and of course he got me playing football again. Sincere Condolences to Sharon, Lucy, Amy and all the family on the sad passing of Derek, he was a pure gentleman and will be sadly missed

So sad to hear of Derek's passing. I got to know him when he'd call to kingspan in castleblayney. We'd talk mostly football,of course ☺️, but also what sport our kids were involved in and how they were getting on. He managed to get me all Ireland hurling tickets and I'd try to get him football tickets. My heart is broken for your family Derek. Take care my friend.

My first memories of Derek was of course Len Pak and selling me my first car. He was such a character and really loved and respected by everyone there. He definitely got me through the early days working in the warehouse with his jokes and personality and definitely one of my Dads favourite employees.
