I am so sorry for the loss of Derek. He spoke well of his family. I wish that I could have met you. I was glad that I was able to see him a couple of years ago in Dublin. I have many fond memories from out days at Chiemsee. Rest well, my friend.

Very sad to hear the passing of Derek, I have fond memories of him when he came back from Germany and always whenever we passed each other going in and out of the Grove, a gentle soul.

My deepest sympathies to the Rogers family. I once visited Derek in Crumlin and met Sinead, Mark, and his kind parents, Christy and Helen. My first thought was of Mrs. Rogers - I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Rogers passing and shocked to hear that Derek had passed. I pray for peace for the family. Please know I am thinking about you all.

I am so sorry to hear of Derek's passing. I met him in Germany while working at AFRC many years ago. He was a kind man. I send my love to all of you from the USA. May he rest in peace.

I was sad to hear this news, had just had a nice chat with Derek before the holidays.. he sounded upbeat and happy.. I enjoyed getting to know Derek while working on the renovation of AFRC Chiemsee Hotel .. May he rest in peace.
I was saddened to hear of Derek's sudden death. Although I have not seen him in some time, I have very fond memories of him. My sympathy to his Mum and family.
