Dermot was a true friend to my dad Fran, their friendship never wavered. I often heard Dad refer to him as a fabulous person. A true animal lover, Dermot’s dogs struck gold when they landed a home with him, first Louie and later Teddy.

He didn’t get the opportunity to retire to the sun but now that his work is done, I hope he is having the best reunion.
