I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Dermot's sudden passing only today. He was a great character and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Heartfelt condolences to Gerry and all the family. Thinking of you all especially at this time. May Dermot rest in eternal peace.

Our sincere condolences to the Brien family. Dermot was a gentle soul. We still remember the laughs when he lived in Canada and we had so much fun at our cottage and house on Kylemore. Bryan was so pleased to join up with Dermot on a visit to Dublin to celebrate St Patrick's Day a few years ago. He had not seen him since he was a small child. Gerry and I had the pleasure of meeting him on several occasions when we visited Dublin and it was always a pleasure to see him. He will be so very missed. RIP Dermot. All our love, Gerry, Christine and Bryan.

Words failed me when I heard the dreadful news that Dermot (Dermo) had passed. We worked for almost 20 years in Argos Dermot and when id answer the phone to you all I’d hear is Gezabelle how the devil are ya? 🤣🤣🤣. We had so many laughs in those times. I can’t believe you’re gone and I so wish we’d had time for a goodbye. Now I have to say it in my head, Goodbye and rest easy Dermo. You were a true friend and gentleman. I’ll miss you. Gez.
