Really shocked and saddened to hear of Dermots passing, he taught me so much in C&W and i still use his advice to this day.

Dear Veronica, You are in my thoughts to-day as Dermot bids us all farewell. I will remember him for his quick wit and good humour, always with a smile on his face. My sympathy also to Nial and Gareth. Your happy memories will survive.

Very sad to hear of the sudden passing of Dermot. I had along with many others the privilege of his quick witt and good humour shared for many years. My sincere sympathy to all his lovley family which he always spoke of.

I didn’t know Dermot very well, but every time I came across I was impressed by his acuity and a keen, underlying sense of gentle, intelligent humour that oozed from him. In my world he was ever the proverbial breath of fresh air. Xx
