My condolences to you Fergus, and family also, on your loss. I have many happy memories of Derrnot, both when he lived in Dublin and we would spend Christmas Day with Bill, Jo and Derrnot [ he played Rock Around the Clock to the shock of all the adults one year!] and when I stayed with the Jo and Jack in London and he would gallantly escort me around the tourist sites which must have been a total bore for him! Having just viewed his funeral online from London I am so happy to see your lovely family and know how loved your dad was.

Fergus, I am so sorry to hear about your father’s passing. Your mam and dad were the kindest people that i ever met, and I will always regret not knocking on their door for so so many years. My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.
