So sorry to hear about Derry, we will miss him on the waterways. So sudden a passing is a great shock to the family, my thoughts are with you.

Dear Cousin, I am so sorry that you and your family have to bear this very deep and sad loss. Derry was a gentleman and a lovely person who always had a smile and a hug for us when we met. Tess is so very sad and will miss him also. See you soon. God Bless. Tina, Tara and Conor Lawless.

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Derry's passing. He will be sorely missed by the many friends that he had in the Cruising Club. Derry was a founder-member of the club and a former Secretary of the IWAI branch and subsequently was elected as Hon. Secretary of the national body of the association.
Many members have fond memories of happy times enjoyed in Derry's company on club events down through the years. He will be sorely missed.
