Such a lovely gentlemanly neighbour Dermot. May you rest in peace.
Rest in Peace Dermot, a lovely gentleman to meet along the road. Your presence will be missed.
Sincere condolences on the sad passing of Dermot. I had the pleasure of meeting Dermot with my Aunt Ann when she was visiting from California. May he rest in peace.
Rest in Peace Dermot. You were a great neighbour 🙏
Dermot and I had a long standing friendship starting back on Brighton Road in the early 50s. We would meet again on his trips to U.S and mine to Ireland and It was like the years of separation did not exist. We kept in touch via email and I am now seeing and hearing things I want to share with him.
Thank you to John and family for the company and friendship you shared with Dermot. It is consoling knowing you were there for him.
My sincere condolences. May you rest in peace Dermot.
Our friendship goes back to the THF days at the Shelbourne and was a lifelong dear friend I will miss our chats and emails, your annual trip to Cork when I was in Ireland. Dermot loved talking about the hotel business, he was an old-school hotel guy trained by legendary Hoteliers such as Toddy O'Sullivan at Gresham Dublin and Dr. Brendan O Regan at Old Ground Ennis, Dermot certainly packed a lot into a long life, his sense of adventure and joy for life and loved people.

He never forgot my birthday, Thanksgiving, or Christmas. I shall miss you dear friend but I am confident we shall meet again one day Rest in peace. As the book of Timothy tells us "I fought the good fight, I finished the race and I kept the faith". This sums up Dermot's life.

Condolences to John Audrey and Family. from John Linda and family

Deepest sympathy to all the family. Prayers for you at this heartbreaking time. God bless. Rest In Peace Dermot. There’s a front seat waiting for you. In Gods heavenly home ♥️
Over the years you became an unexpected dear friend who I will greatly miss. Your life was full of adventure and laughter... not to mention the occasional pint! The stories, photos and information about the world you discovered were amazing and enlightening. They even made me want to experience some of those adventures for myself. Say 'Hi' to everyone up there for me. And if you see the lost, drunk leprechaun, give him a map to my house! LOL❤ John and family, I'm sorry for your loss. It's rare to have people in one's life that care for another as much as he did you.
With our deepest sympathy to John Audrey Conor & Eoin on the sad passing of a dear Friend Dermot. May he Rest in Eternal Peace.
