It was such a pleasure to enjoy the company of Dermot & Mary at the Galway Races a couple of years ago. A huge loss to his family and friends. Condolences.

I was so sorry to hear of Dermot’s passing. As Secretary to the Employment Appeals Tribunal (EAT), I had the privilege to work with Dermot for a few years.

Dermot was a highly respected Deputy Chairman of the EAT and a fountain of knowledge to all who worked with him and a true gentleman.

My sincere condolences to Mary, Cliona, Deirdre, Geraldine.

Happy memories of Sunday night roasts and your gorgeous little girls back then. Also Dermot got me my first job as a waitress at the Terenure Inn. He always was kind and was an outstanding fair and impartial adjudicator.He will be sadly missed by all who knew but will be remembered by all with an interest in employment law from his many care fully worded and erudite decisions.
